Somebody Pinch Me.

I cannot believe I am writing this post right now.

I don't know how to break this news in a creative way, and I can't wait any longer. I can't think about anything except

WE RECEIVED A REFERRAL!

I've known this was coming for about five days, so I've been avoiding the general public because it was not official.  Pretty sure the perma-grin might've given me away. I've been jumping out of my skin.

Then today I rec'd a call from Kathy at our agency letting me know the official referral is in.  We were waiting on necessary documents from the orphanage in Ethiopia.  After she completes a bit of paperwork on her end, she'll email it to me for acceptance. And of course we'll accept!

We have a picture and a name of our little baby. She is perfect.  Precious.  Gorgeous. Even her name is sweet. So sweet. 

We are not allowed to post or send pictures or information about her anywhere on the web until we pass court.  That will be our first trip to Ethiopia.  Courts are closed in August and September for the rainy season, so we will be assigned a date after that.  My guess is December.  A few months [hopefully] later, we will travel again to bring her home!

Our friends, Tana and Casey, are in Ethiopia for their court date, and they held her! They took pictures of her and even recorded a video. What a gift to treasure, and I believe this timing is not coincidence.

God has blessed us beyond measure.  Somebody pinch me!
