Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day, I got Lainey into a photo shoot wearing Ty's attire.  I had five of my favorite printed on small canvases and strung them from a vintage golf driver for Ty to hang in his office.  

He may or may not have shed a tiny tear when he saw the gift.

Pinterest Inspired

Here's the deal.  I pin, pin, and pin.  But rarely do I follow through.  You too?  Motivate yourself to create, design, cook, organize, build, or whatever by sharing your Pinterest inspired project on your blog.

My project:

• Painted a wooden frame and sanded it for the distressed look.
• Decoupaged scrapbook paper onto wooden letters and painted the sides and back of letters.
• Connected letters to frame using craft pins & ribbon.
• Added vintage embellishments to frame.

(Sorry for the grainy iPod picture.  And please know, Lainey's room is not painted pea soup green like it looks in the picture.  Lighting is an issue we are currently problem solving.)
