The answer to the most commonly asked question is, truthfully, we don't know. We are hopeful things will go smoothly, but a lot of things can happen to slow down the final stage of the process. And we ask you to pray. And ask you to ask anyone else you know to pray.

Lately, adoptive families have only received 24 - 48 hours of notice, so while we wait for that call, we have a lot to do to ready ourselves and our home for a child! Between the preparation, nesting, and holiday frenzy, I am hopeful time will pass quickly and before you know it, we'll all be together.
One thing I know, this sweet thing is worth whatever wait it will take. The journey will truly begin when she is home and we learn what this parenting thing is all about!
I just know I can't wait, so I cannot fathom how you are feeling! Patience is a virtue, and the things we wait on are only that much sweeter when they arrive...
